NUI Galway chose ROBUS fittings to replace inefficient fluorescent tubes with a low energy solution without compromising on the level of light output.
ROBUS 20W T8 LED Tubes were used to replace 58W fluorescent tubes. 360 tubes were installed in 90 locations throughout the campus building.
Total savings over a 5 year period result in €45,864 based on 14-hour use per day, lamp replacement costs of €3.75, €5.00 labour per lamp, €0.15kWh.
